I am a teacher at Primary School Manpur in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. I think it is very important to have a good teaching and learning environment to impart skills and better education in any school. Children do not just come to school to study, they should be taught everything to ensure their overall development so that they think independently and ask questions.
This summer vacation I decided to continue teaching my students through online classes so that they don’t forget the lessons and subjects taught to them before the holidays. In order to succeed in my goal I made all the possible arrangements to continue teaching the students even during the summer vacation.
Along with the education of children in school, special care has to be taken of their studies even during the holidays, because children always forget the things that are taught to them. For this I decided to work with other teachers of the school however it couldn’t happen due to some reasons.
Then I connected with the daughter of our school cook who I thought would be interested in teaching the children because she is a bright student and loves teaching.

A very passionate Sakshi, who is also a student of class 8th, happily agreed to join me in this and we started conducting online classes with the children during summer vacation.
Through this step I ensured that my children will inculcate the habit of studying in vacations and not forget the topics and subjects taught to them.
Sakshi is not alone in this act of service. She is accompanied by her two brothers who help her with conducting the online classes. Every day, she shares photos of children’s homework with me after the class is over.
I have the best bonding with my children and feel lucky that they are attached to me.
