Boil sweet potato and peel it thereafter. Place the peeled sweet potato, after chopping it fine, in bowl and heat ghee in a deep bottomed pan. Add chopped gur (jaggery) pieces to the ghee and let it dissolve to make a syrup. Add sweet potato to the syrup and let it soak up the syrup. Add roasted chironji (Charoli nuts) and mix well. Sweet potato halwa is ready! Sweet potato also has iron, folate, copper, magnesium and other vitamins to boost our immune system.

Skin doesn’t wrinkle easily and stays glowing if sweet potato is regularly consumed. Eating it also improves vision. Its beta carotene fights with free radicals and keeps aging at bay. Vitamin C in sweet potatoes produces collagen to keep skin younger.
